Cyanide Apple
Four women, one face. Melodic punk with a candy-coated byte: love, dopamine and slow collapse, sugar-coated, poison-cored.
Biography
Cyanide Apple is four women. Alice Kernel, voice and guitar, is the only one with her face uncovered: a low, smoky, almost whispered voice that stays calm even when the band is at full volume, sweetness kept at arm's length. Behind her, three masked players, each one a single neon color: green on bass, yellow on second guitar, pink on drums. Nobody knows their names. The songs move between melodic punk and post-punk, bright and driving on the surface with an undertow of unease. Bubblegum Overclock, the first album, is still being recorded.
